Has anyone here heard of someone installing hydraulic bump stops to their MetalTech long travel rear end? Giving up those 2" or so of up travel is fine for when I'm only going slow on trails. I am…Continue

I'm replacing my current set up so my SPC UCA and ICONs are going up for sale. I've rebuilt the UCAs and painted them a blue color cause I thought I was gonna re install them but went a different route. The ICONs are the extended travel and have at least 50k on them but I've had zero issues with them.SPC UCA new are $528 I'd like to sell them for $400The ICONs new are $1200 and I'd like to get $800Haven't looked around at what the typical price for used stuff is but you can always make me an…See More

"//I think he meant more of mechanical parts such as alternators pulleys// When you get that whine under the hood it is probably an open bearing pulley made by Toyota. Sealed pulleys are available at RockAuto."

So the main question is has anyone ran after market cam bolts from companies like SPC or Moog? If so what are your thoughts on them? They're significantly less then OEM parts from Toyota by like $200-300! With a part like that though I feel like it's important to make sure it's of good quality and it's gonna hold up to the beating of normal road use and trail runs without me worrying about my front end falling apart.See More

Rear long travel w/hydraulic bump stops

Has anyone here heard of someone installing hydraulic bump stops to their MetalTech long travel rear end? Giving up those 2" or so of up travel is fine for when I'm only going slow on trails. I am hoping to give myself a little bit extra cushion for those few times I find myself bombing down dirt trails.
