Rear long travel w/hydraulic bump stops

Has anyone here heard of someone installing hydraulic bump stops to their MetalTech long travel rear end? Giving up those 2" or so of up travel is fine for when I'm only going slow on trails. I am hoping to give myself a little bit extra cushion for those few times I find myself bombing down dirt trails.
