ATTENTION: Safety flags are now required on street legal vehicles whilst out in the dunes. no flags are required along the beach and where we camp.

is it ever too early to begin planning for Surf N Turf 2010? the official website and MOB list is not up yet, but the dates are confirmed per TLCA's event schedule.

our base camp setup will be tweaked slightly to allow for better kitchen access for cooks and other minor details. prep meetings will begin this summer!

the AllCal Republic will be treated to a special hog roast on Saturday night courtesy of BozTec. porky, potatoes and squash will be provided.

I think I want to go but I want to know what the people are like. I don't want to show up and fell like an outcast cause I am new to this club. so is it like where people have there group and new people fell akward.

i wouldn't worry about that at all. i believe we met about 10 or so new members of this site at AllCal and it seemed as though they were just old friends that were rediscovered.

There will be 300+ people there... you'll need to find us, or we will not know who you are. Look for the giant NorCal flag and bring jello shots - everything should be OK!

Will, I can assure you you do not have to worry about that with this group! The wife and I attended AllCal, our first run with the group after joining a week before, and it felt like home. From the start we were treated like old friends, and just had the time of our life. We are new to wheelin and were worried like you that it would be awkward, but everyone was so friendly, patient and willing to help in any way they could. If you can get out to this run, do....you will have a blast!
