New FJ owner in Campbell
Picked up my silver 2008 FJ on Friday. It's pretty much stock, need to save up for some up-grades.

I'm going to start with easy stuff. New air filter, hitch and harness, rubber floor mats, surf racks, and I like the blacked out look. Nothing to serious for a while. I do want to put together a tool kit and basic emergency supplies. Any suggestions?
Where would you guys start?

it all depends on what you are planning to do with it. if its a DD i say go for engine upgrades before external stuff. also im pretty sure we have all learned from experience about going cheap for parts and end up paying for it later. just do it right the first time! haha
