are you coordinating trail run efforts with the two Vegas FJC forums or is this just a hang out and party Vegas event?

Hey Steve, there hasn't been any discussion yet with the two Vegas FJC groups but I plan on making note to them about the event. Director13 (socal) is going to organize a run for one of the days, he grew up there and has extensive knowledge of the area and a host load of connections. Being that this is the 1st one we are trying to get off the ground for an annual, we may avoid the complexities of having too much input and mix it as a family fun party with a guided historical trail run out to some ghost towns or whatever Director13 has in mind.

Say,

Has anybody heard about the Vegas trip.

I tried to ask on the SoCal site but I don't think they have approved my account yet.

I'm interested to know if it's still on or not.

We are going to postpone the Vegas event until sometime in the Fall due to other events going on. I will update Norcal once we identify the new date.

Ok that's cool.

Someone asked me to go to another event in San Diego that week and I was going to try to do them both.

Probably would have stressed me out.

Sounds like a cool trip though. If it comes up again I would definitely be interested.

Keep in mind Our High Sierra Run is the last week of Sept, and Surf n Turf is the 1st weekend of Nov.

but I'm down for a Vegas run

got that in mind BZ, I'm in for both HSR & S&T and want to work on scheduling it at least 2 weeks apart from any other events or holidays. I'll work with socal to get a date set in the next couple of weeks.
