How did we get the moniker? Being from the vast area of central California we don’t fit into the usual breakdown of north or south, we are the step children of California. California Nomads who wheel with both groups all over California and the Western United States.

Comment by MarinCruzin on June 12, 2011 at 3:53pm: Hi all. I am moving down to Santa Maria in the next month. I was down there yesterday to meet with a job offer, and today decided to take the offer. Tater (potatomutato) directed me to you guys, as I am a member of Norcal anyway now, living in the Bay Area. I will be down there 2-3 days a week for next month, until my current company finds a replacement for me, then I will be there permanent.

Went to Pismo for my first time yesterday. Saw 3 FJs, and if any of the three are members, I was in the Sun Fusion waving!

Look forward to seeing yall on the trail!

Comment by CentralCalFJ on April 29, 2011 at 12:54pm: Wes, as soon as I get the new rims and tires on I want to do Pine Mt the long way again, to the top of the steps, looks like the gears and locker are going to beat the wheels getting here, then we will just have to do it again!

As soon as they open the gate for the trail to Monache Meadow I want to do a 3 or 4 day camping/fishing trip up there. I will call the ranger station and find a date. Late June or very early July? I know July is a busy month for all but not sure if we can get in in June.

Enjoy the weeln' this weekend, while i'm stuck at a baby shower!

Want to get an early start because there is a concert out at Pozo tomorrow so hi mountain will be a highway of people in Honda civics. let me know if you want to join.
