Sorry that happened to ya, hope you heal up before S&T and get back on the horse.

This will hopefully serve as a lesson to all going to Pismo. Please look before you leap. So many are injured this way or worse.
Bummer, Pismo can be treacherous, be Careful out there people!
it'll be wrapped up for 12 weeks(hopefully). first, in 10 days i'll have to get another x-ray to see if its healing right and if not...... they will have to re-break it!! ... and if all is good, the unknown amount of time in physical therapy. i really hope this isn't the straw that breaks the camels back that gets me kicked out of the Air Force if its a leading cause of not being able to pass the push ups... i wish i could remember when it broke the first time &how long it took for me to get back to 100%... thankfully i'm right handed ! & atleast i can still write and wipe my butt
and the road to recovery begins ! cast is off, hand and arm looks like an arm found on a zombie with dry dead pealing skin.. limited movement which is expected after no movement for 13weeks.... Ortho doc said movement first then strength. initial physical therapy assessment is scheduled for 7 Dec with an unknown set schedule... one step at a time!! i'm super happy i can type again! chicken pecking the key board was starting to get really really old
woohoo Good news
They casted you for 13 weeks??? I'm a sports doc in the bay area and work with one of the best hand surgeons around. PM me if you need a second opinion or anything else.
