Ok, here's what's going on....

I currently have the TRD/Bilstein coil-overs with the Daystar 2.5" blocks and I'm running 33" tires. I've had the lift for almost a year and got it from BZ who had it before and I think Resty was using it for a bit too... so it's pretty worn in. I never had any problems until SnT when I noticed I was really starting to rub against the body mount. It had never ever done that before, even when I would be fully flexed. Now, whenever I fully turn my wheel left, the tire rubs a bit (only when I turn left though... no rub on the right). I'm going to just assume that since these blocks are polyeurathane, they are beginning to wear down. I know the blocks are less than 2.5" because I have a 2.5" lift in the back (no blocks, bigger coils) and it's slightly taller in the back.

Regardless of them problem, I really want to get bigger coil-overs... and this "problem" is the incentive for me to start looking. I've been looking at prices and so far the Icons seem to be the best. I've heard Kings are really good, but they're a little more expensive. Any suggestions on what brand and where to find the best price?

Also, since I have a 2.5" lift in the rear and most of the adjustable coil-overs can go up to 3.5", will it put too much strain on my suspension if the front is slightly taller than the rear? I'm only asking because I think having the front slightly higher would give it a nice prerunner look to it.

It's most likely your front OEM springs fading over time, not necessarily the spacer puck. I would stay with 3" max in front, unless you want to do a diff drop. Any higher you'll most likely get CV boot or diff seal leaks. If you go Icon, call up Demello, he is always giving good deals.
If your budget is an issue, and it is your OEM springs fading, I've got a set with only about 25k on them you're welcome to. Besides Demello for ICON, Metaltech offers real good pricing.
I have my stock coil-overs still (although the right one is blown out).

Ohh Metal-Tech is having a sale on the Icons... normally $1,100 but right now they're $990. Not THAT much of a reduction but better than nothing. Good thing Christmas is coming up. I'll see what money/contributions I can muster up from the fam, haha.

Give me a link to the right ones because they have way too many different models and it's confusing.

It only goes up to a 2.5" lift? I want 3.5" because I'm going to be replacing the rear suspension with 3.5" eventually. And that's a bit out of my price range (I also don't need the reservoirs).
nice!
That's still way out of my price range.
When I was shopping for ICON's back in July, MT offered free shipping & no tax.
Have you gotten an alignment?

I know that once you lift these trucks and you get an alignment, the front tires move toward the rear tires. I'm not a mechanic and correct me if i'm wrong, but from what i've learned, this is because of the caster angles that are not made up for from the geometry difference of a stock and a lifted suspension system.

To make up some of the caster angle back, you can slap on an aftermarket upper control arm and get an alignment again!

Here's a picture of my printout from my alignment after I got my upper control arms. The before angles are from a 3" lift and the actual is with my upper control arms.

Also, don't use my truck and specifications as a model, i've gone through a lot and it may not be exactly the same for you. I hope this helps.
