Rumor has it that he's gone out of business.

I got mine in December last year. At that time, he was reachable at geartype@gmail.com

The paypal recipient email address was bhall@geartype.com

No love from Geartype, so I have another question.

Anyone strip the bumper wings and painted them black?

There are tons of posts on the blue pages about this. It is not terribly difficult but you have to decide on your finish. Overall I would say satin over flat black. One guy stripped the paint off using bumper stripper but he said it wasnt worth the effort. Just make sure you use sand paper so the paint stays.
