I've been reading around on the blue room about the pros and cons of removing your front sway bar. I have the 6 inch lift by procomp, running 35s and i've always been cautious with doing U-turns or hard right turns because my tires rub the sway bar. Here's a photo to show you just how close they are. Especially the nut that is parallel to the springs (has scraped against each other before).

Anyone else have this problem?

There are several people who are not running a sway bar at all. That main concern (I would have) would be the body roll in a turn.. With no sway bar and a 6 " lift, I would think you would have lots or roll before the suspension settles in a corner. Of course how stuff your springs are would make a difference but I am not sure how much.

But, I am sure you would get use to it over time and it may not be that bad.
I took mine off for a while. It didn't like it off, too much sway, so I put it on. High speed emergency maneuvers on the freewary can be kinda hairy. I'm sure the sway would be exagerated on a 6" lifted rig.
Thanks guys. I'm considering getting the Spidertrax spacers now. That would give me more room for my tires. I'll probably do the install in November since I'm really busy this month. Thanks for the feedback!
I had issues with spacers and I have a 6" RC lift with 35's.. The spacers caused my tires to rub the body(where I chopped it) when doing u-turns.
That's odd. I don't see how it would rub against the body part if it's spaced out even further. I've also done the chop to prevent the rub and that has stopped it.
it can, it's all about your backspacing on your wheels. Some people weld in steering stops to avoid rubbing on the frame.
I see. Hmm, decisions, decisions.
Why not make or buy a sway bar disconect? and add limit straps. But disconecting the sway bar can tear your CV boots FYI and can cause more parts to break. Reg driving will suck without a sway bar with a IFS. Also if you do go with a diso set up the rig will be all over the place on the HighWay. IMO I would not do it with a 6" lift maybe with a 3" but not with a 6" lift.
