I don't know if you are talking about the same hack i did or not. The one I did turns off VSC and also allows you to take advantage of the rear locker(RL) in 2WD and 4WD high (since toyota thinks that doughnuts are not safe they wont let you turn on the RL in 2WD). I cant tell if you did the same hack as i did but if it is I have not had issues with a half lit RL light or any of that can you post the link to the site you are looking at.

The first link is the one i did. basically you ground one wire and your locker works in 2WD high and 4WD hi as well as 4WLo but I did put a switch in that acts as a groind interupter so that I can turn What I call "Fun Mod" off when I dont want it. the day I did it it was raining and with the locker on in 2WD I was sideways everywhere. The second link is a hack so that you you can run your locker and A-Trac at the same time. and yes 2007 with auto trans.

My vechicle did not come equiped with a-trac. Is a-trac just controlled by the computer or is there more too it? Do you think my vechicle (basic fj model) is already wired for a-trac and I could just add the switch? Sorry if this is somewhat off the topic.

Yes it will . Go to the Dealship (or ebay, maybe) buy the Atrac button , pop out the blank in the center dash (where you rear end back up sensor on and off switch is) and plug it in. ther eis oly one plug that it will go into. All FJC came with tht esame wire harness.. Some models did not come with the button to Turn on the Atrac but they all the the ability....
