Looks nice A! Any rubbing? You may want to hammer in the pinch welds on the front. Oh and loose the mud flaps.
So far, no rubbing (on the freeway from Redwood City to Redwood shores). I've driven maybe 5 miles :)

Could you explain more about the pinch welds?
Removing the mud flaps is only about the looks or has a real function? For example, my rock-rails are literally "sanded" (the powdercoat is removed) by the sand when I go to the desert. I am afraid removing the mud flaps might have an effect on the body paint... what do you think?
I'm surprised your flaps haven't been ripped off yet from crawling. I guess its for looks too, because I think the FJ looks better without the flaps.

I'm almost sure with those size tires, at full flex you'll rub on the pinch welds in the front wheel wells. Let me see if I can find a pic.
I always repaired the flaps :) last time after Black Rock for example.

Thanks for the advice. I will check later where they are located.
Actually, I double checked the size of your tire, I thought they were 34", but they're 33.2", so you should be fine.
No I did not want to go so big. I just checked to see if there were some "pinch welds" but I could not locate them. For sure there are some bolts protruding from the body...
I like it ! You should be very happy with the new shoes Alisio.
Alessio :)

Thanks for the advices and again, thanks for lending me the spare the other week.
Looks good A ! Where did you get them and did you get a good deal..
I think I got a good deal: The nice guy at Discount Tire Direct gave me the 50$ fjcruiserforums discount + another 50$ for the coupon I got at ALL*CAL. He said this was an exception and normally he would only accept one coupon at a time.

On top of that, I got the BFGs tires for the price of the NITTOs, so I saved 30$ for each tire. Free delivery and NO SALES TAX (this was the most important one!)

I had them mounted and balanced at a local America's Tire that charged 100$. I watched them while they were at it, and it seems they balanced very easily, on a couple of tires they did not even had to put the weights on the outside.

So I am overall very satisfied so far. I will test the tires offroad next weekend.
I flunked Italian, sorry

You are asking Alessio if he got a good deal? He does nothing without a deal of some kind! LOL
