A new page for the site is also in work, and although its name has not been fixed yet (we will appreciate any input), for now we call it: Reader’s page. Its purpose is to allow our readers to post their ...own trip report, reviews, comments, etc…, and give them credit for their contribution. Our idea is to pick one eligible or more each month, and reward them with one of Bivouac’s memorabilia (hat, shirt, sticker,…).
Another long term project is our member page. Here, we are working on a login environment for the site that will allow us to communicate more efficiently with our readers via login. The page will create reader’s account and record emails for the purpose of keeping the members informed via emails of updates, news and events. Members will also get privilege access to file downloads (maps, gps data,…), postings, and the opportunity to purchase Bivouac2x4 memorabilia at discounted prices.
