talk about ouch on dollars, my left rear abs speed sensor is toast, so my vsc traction control is not working and of course I have stuck vsc lights on in the dash, just a bit over 200 bucks for the small sensor ;-/body>
They look nice. I like the grease zerks at either end BUT I'm a bit skeptical about the adjustment joint in the middle apposed to each end. And it doesn't look like they have heim joints. Steve?
These type of joints have been in service for years with nothing but good results, I'm sure they will do just fine. Ive had them on my rig for awhile now and they are great.
My orig desiegn used hiem joints like the ap version and I quickly found that hiems do not fare well to the elements. They also have a short service life and are not rebuildable. Mine can be rebuilt if ever needed for less than $4 per bushing. The having used both types the redeye links are far superior IMO
Those look nice too. But in my opinion I would spend the coin for the Allpro version. I have them and they have heim joint on BOTH ends plus they are ADJUSTABLE at both link ends as opposed to other options. again just my opinion but an adjustable area in center of a tension link is a concern to me.. good luck to you.
p.s. if you want factory links I have an extra PAIR way below what the dealer quoted you for ONE. PM me if interested.
Its a swaybar link, why would you need heims? There isn't that much range of motion for the swaybar. Heims require more maintenance too. You also don't need adjustability for the links.
The links have uniball style articulating bushings and the 1/16'' of exposed high stregnth rod has a 150,000 lb tensile stregnth. Please dont knock something you know nothing about.
