Eagle Lakes / Signal Peak - October 9,10,11

Hey guys im new here but i thought i would invite whoever would like to come to a trip me and a few others had already planned.

This weekend at Eagle Lakes in Donner, CA

There is about 4 of us confirmed to be there. Plan on camping if you would like, doing a day trip up to signal peak for the incredible views, fishing, campfire bs, etc.

Should be fun!

Eagle Lakes Trail is a senic four wheel drive tour through rocky terrain and dense forests. Early in the spring the trail can be very wet making for quite a challenge in some spots.

Directions:

Take highway 80 east towards reno. Exit at eagle lakes road near donner summit. Go north under the freeway and follow the road around to the west. Turn north across the road from the Indian Springs campground. Follow the trail a short distance to the staging area.

The plan is to meet up at the staging area (GPS Coordinates) around 9ish and then scope out a place to camp or just hit the trails right then and there. Feel free to message me and grab my number (if there is even service there) Or ill have my CB set to 30 if you want to call for me that way.

Sweet! Its all pretty relative as far as the meeting time. Those of us who are going to camp are probably going to set up around 9-9:30 before exploring some of the trails so if you have a CB, just tune into 30 and ask for me. We won't be to far away from the trailhead GPS coords at that time. Would be great to have you along!
