I saw this video on youtube and thought to myself did this guy do the right thing? Should he have just kept a slow roll or do what he did? I have seen a lot of people do this and every time I hold my breath. Even though he did not roll over he could have. How do you maneuver a trail like this?

Without seeing the trail in front of the FJC, it's hard to say if they took the right line. The driver was going to fast though. When crawling, you need to go slow, so the rig goes down slow and smooth, not jerky like the rig in the video.
Agreed..

its very hard to know what the trail was like. But based on what I see it does look like they went to high on the burm which raised the heck of the front end and when it dropped away the pass rear wanted to come all the way over. If he slammed on the brake a bit harder it may have rolled.

Problem with pics / vids is they never seem to tell the whole story..
Yea I don't even think 3-D would would help with the video depth of field. So this guy should have been going slower? You want to creep slow through an obsticle like this. That is the best way to do it and do not ride the high side of the trail. Thanks guys for the input.
