Attention Surf N Turfers!

NorCal FJ safety flags are available for order now. There is a limited quantity order of 25 for Surf N Turf participants. Additional orders will be taken on an as needed basis.

Below is an image of the flag. It is safety orange with a black NorCal FJ logo on one side (not double-sided due to the material of the flag). It comes with a 4' black pole/whip that attaches to the window with a couple extra strong, clear Adams suction cups.

Please note: Those who will be attending Surf N Turf will have first priority for this first batch of flags. As a result, those who can't or don't want to attend SnT will receive their flags the week following the event. Essentially, we'll be bringing all 25 down to the dunes. We'll place another small order to make sure we have enough to fulfill everyone's flag requests. Hope everyone understands.

I used a clamp for a dune buggy, pull the pin and it folds down. The flag sits right on the rack's front top crossbar.
I got it at http://www.dansperformanceparts.com/buggy/bilaa/buggybilaa1.htm
they have some other 1.75" clamps that could be useful for mounting tools, etc.
I had planned to pick up a buggy whip when I got to Pismo, but now I have one of the coolest flags around. Can't wait to see them waving.

just an update on the flags. i think i have about six more unclaimed.

for those of you who weren't at SnT, i would be happy to meet you halfway or at any of the upcoming socials. shipping the darn things is a bit expensive (about half of what the actual flag costs), but if you still want it shipped i can arrange for it.

SF: Wednesday, November 12 - evening
San Mateo: Thursday, November 13 - evening Happy Hour at Mandala Lounge
SF: Saturday, November 15 - SF Meet & Greet at the Toronado
South Bay: Daily...can meet during the lunch hour near Sunnyvale/Mountain View

i will not be carrying any extras with me, so please send me a message in advance if you are planning to attend any of the socials so i can be sure to have yours on hand.

btw, my apologies to the gentleman who stopped by our camp at SnT requesting a flag. i wasn't there at the time and we didn't catch each other when i was, but i want to make sure you get one if you are still interested.

potatomutato, this is sffjsup (forgot my fjcruiserforums name when i signed up here). I'm hoping to get to the meet n greet at the toronado on Saturday and pick up my flag. How was the trip? I bet you all had a blast! What time are you meeting at the Toronado? If i can get away from work then I'll stop on by and finally meet you all.

btw, we are officially sold out as of a few months ago. i realize there is demand for some more. we'll most likely place another order in late summer and definitely before SnT 2009. cheers!
