Hat

Hi I was looking for a hat to give to Monica for when we go on our "expeditions". Ideally it would be a high-quality one, that works well especially to protect from the sun. I realize this has almost nothing to do with the FJ, but probably in this group I can find useful advices.

I saw a woman the other day driving w/ one of those (blast shields) pulled down over her face. Wish I could have got a photo.

I saw one at Burning Man. Pretty effective against the 5andstorm we were having the first day. Plus you could use it for welding.
Personally I don't believe in hats.

How come you have a nice hanger for the hat in the FJ, when you are supposed to fold it and put it in a bag :)

Good point. That hanger was for my previous hat so it was a good place to keep the new one out of the way. Besides, I didn't get a bag with mine. Anyway the hanger is gone now and replaced with a dual fly rod holder.
By the way that fishing show is every February and I expect the same vendor will be there. He has been every year.
Did you see the hats for the ladies?
