FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I will be hosting an Install Day and BBQ at my place on September 11th from 10AM to about 5PM or whenever everyone is done.. If you have something to install come on by. If you do not, come on by anyway. The location is about 45 miles east of Sacramento on hwy 50. The exact location will be PM'd to those interested near the date.

I will supply burgers, dogs, sodas and a grill. Others can bring salads, deserts, etc. I ask that no alcohol be brought on site. I have just moved into a new neighborhood and do not want to cause any problems with my new neighbors.

I have a few tools, plus a welder and compressor if I can get them wired up before then.

Ask questions if you have them. Post if you are interested.

If another date works better for a bunch of people, it can be changed.

Hope you can make it.

is anyone heading up from the Peninsula or East Bay? if so, you can ride jumpseat in mine or i in yours and we can split gas.
I might be going to Placerville in the morning and will stop by to meet/assist for a few hours.
Hey Nester, If you are going to be there that would be great. I have a couple wiring jobs that your assistance would be great. I am a major HACK when it comes to wiring up things.
Bump for tomorrow!!
I had a last minute idea if any one is interested.

If everyone is done by 4 or 5 pm, we could do a Long Canyon run after the install day.

We can decide tomorrow.

I'm going to have to make myself a tentative again, i may have stripped the threads on my wifes scion TC axle pretty bad and may be doing a replacement of the whole damn assembly..hopefully i can just put on a new bolt. Will do my best to make it. Cheers!
Dude! WTF? let me know if you need a hand.....
That was a royal pain in the ass to change...the bolt got so stripped I couldn't even back it out, tried to cut out the but but it was too tight. Not a fun day would have much rather spent it installing my ome heavies :-(. I may have to plan for the next install day
Thanks to everyone who came out. That was a good day and a fun night run on Long Canyon Trail.
Thanks for opening your home to me, Ellen and yoshi as well as the others. Had a great time and can't till the next one. Long Canyon was like a completely different trail at night. Good times.
Big thank you to Daryl and his family for hosting a great day of wrenching and socializing. The run up Long Canyon was outstanding, got home around 12:30 a.m. A full day of fun for sure, here is what I have as far a photo documentation,
