To anyone that has PM'd me about hooking up in Fairfield before hooking up with everyone else down in Prunedale.......I'm changing my departure time FROM Sacramento from 7:00am to 6:00am so as to guarantee meeting everyone by 11:00am. So....that basically means that I will be ARRIVING in Fairfield at the In N Out burger just before 7:00am instead of the previously posted 8:00am.

Bay Area (680): BzWires, sonof40, PB 07FJ, CA Annie, Moab FJ
Meet-up: Fremont PB 07FJ's choice: Meeting place in Fremont will be AM/PM gas station off AutoMall Parkway and Grimmer Blvd in Fremont.
Route: 680 to 101

Bay Area (101): daPitbull, potatomutato, C4B, 5and5torm, Cypilk
Meeting here :
We are meeting at the Safeway on 100 De Anza Blvd. in San Mateo.

Here's the Google Maps link for the OP:

Cypilk said he might join, but we're not sure if he's coming down with the caravan or not.

We'll be rolling 280-85-101 to Prunedale.

San Benito County (101): Boss73
Meet-up: Prundale.. There is a gas station right off of the 101 going south..
Route: 101S
Check here to see where we will be meeting up in Prundale

i'm kind of drawing up a set-up plan that will have two camps: the main one and a smaller one divided by a buffer zone. that way, those who need a little peace and quiet will get some, but not be far from the action.
Right on Brother !! my wife thanks you..
Can someone take a stock swaybar to SnT for me? I have someone in LA that wants my OEM swaybar and he has some friends going to SnT. It would be great if someone could take it and pass it along to his buddies. Let me know.
I will be working in San Jose till thursday if you want me to take it for you.
I'm bringing my sister to SNT who MUST watch the Cal-USC game, but I don't want to have to leave just so she can find a bar with a TV. Are any of you just as nuts about not missing this game who will be bringing a portable set-up to catch it on ABC?
im sure there will be someone with an rv on the beach watching on theyre tv
i think i mentioned developing a site plan to optimize space, cut down on wind, and provide a separate quiet area not too far away from the main site. i came up with the drawing below (not to scale). Here are the main components:

* Ursa Major - main camp with kitchen, bonfire, etc.
* Ursa Minor - smaller, quieter camp for families and sleepy heads
* borders of each semicircle will be roped off with Caution tape and tall garden stakes
* rigs will surround the semicircles and tents can be set up next to them inside the roped off area
* bonfire will be center front furthest away from Ursa Minor
* Taj Mahal will house shade, the kitchen, festive lighting (Boss?) and the flag
* tables and chairs to be set up anywhere between the Taj and the bonfire (speaking of tables, we'll need some)
* access path between both camps (no parking)
* Ursa Minor to be positioned north or south (pictured) of Ursa Major depending on location of the main SnT festivities (in other words, furthest away from where the noise is)
* large entry way in Ursa Major provides views of the ocean and rigs passing by

there are other elements i have not accounted for (e.g. additional EZ-Ups, more/less rigs, etc.) so we'll have to wing it when we get down there.

thoughts?

very good point...thanks for the suggestion!

those look like two TRDs. :-)
I Am printing this up to show your women how you value her company on the road !! HAHAHA

Just kidding
I bet if you keep your man-boob juice to yourself, all will be OK! :)

How about extra ICE?? Anyone have room to bring a cooler just for spare ice. A clean, unopened bag for cocktails would be sweet, too.

We're packing as much as we can, but it seems that I never have enough ice for drinks on night #2.

How far to the nearest store? Maybe someone can run on Saturday for a re-stock?
Holy crap !! Wow we even have blue prints !! Great job Potato.. I like everything about it.. I will be bringing the lights & power supply for them.. So has angry found a way to get his big old tent down there??? If so I will not bring my E/Z up..

But I judt picked up the KELTY Shelter last night.. Found a great deal on a used one (hardly used) in Aptos.. MAn I love Craigs list.. THese things list for $200 and I got it for $60.. The things looks like it has never been used.. Great deal and I cannnot wait to set it up.

So I will have the Kelty shelter for the "quiet"cammp and I still have the Tiki Torches and caution tape. The only thing is I may have to set up my Pett tent close to my tent. But this will be determined by my wife.. Or nowI call her the "boss"..
I believe Angry found a way to bring his castle down.

No worries about the Pett placement. I wasn't really expecting us to have that many in one place like a concert, plus not really expecting all of them to be communal either. We'll play that by ear.
