Just joined up!

Howdy everyone - just got a 2007 FJ and am loving the thing. She's a six speed and lots of fun to drive around the hills of SF. Did manage to back into a pole so if anyone can recommend a decent body shop (slight bumper damage) that'd be rad. Looking forward to learning more and getting her out in the dirt.

welcome to the site, Jesse! don't know of any good body shops (haven't used one yet, knock on wood), but i'm sure someone here can recommend one. also, you ought to try and come down to AllCal 2010 this weekend in Hollister if you don't already have plans. supposed to be about 80 FJCs all said and done. if not, hope we catch you on a trail run or social in the near future.

working on the front...in my defense been riding a motorcycle for 10 years but got tired of bumming rides to Tahoe.

If it is just the plastic bumper parts you can get those used cheap. Sometimes for free.

in fact, FJK is trying to get rid of his stock rear bumper at AllCal! you'll need to let him know in advance though...he isn't planning on bringing it if no one claims it and will probably be in the dumpster next week.
