At least one thing went well that day. Thanks again for the warning about the trail closure.
What did you guys end up doing?
No one else showed up, which is what I was hoping. I spent a few hours running around and looking at scenery.

I was home by 1:30.
We can check here for when it reopens:

We camped at Silver Lake Friday night and headed down the hill to meet the group Saturday AM.... Didn't find any FJ's so we headed back up to the Mud Lake trail (that intersects the Squaw Ridge trail) and noticed that it was closed.... so we figured the run was off. We headed east and explored some wonderful trails in the eastern Sierra between Walker and Bridgeport. Camping was great and were definitely going back for more exploring there this year.
According to the forest service Squaw might be open the last week end in July. I am going back to that area too. Many places to explore. For fish that is.
I waited at the meeting point from 8:45 to 9:30 in case any one showed. I did not see any other FJs. Sorry for the mix up. I hope you had fun camping anyway.
DWH, We must have just missed you.... We were early and headed down the hill on 88 looking for FJs probably about 8:40.
Nice fish!
