What is the best gps for road and trail use ? What r you guys using?

the old stuff was GlobalMap Baja 540C but that is a discontinued product
you can still find them though
then there is the new stuff

but Garmin makes lots of good stuff the Quest 2 is pretty cool or you can run it from a notebook with a GPS puck and a 2nd small screen mounted on the dash....

I have a Garmin 60CSx handheld. I am very happy with it. It has a micro SD card slot that makes it expandable. That is what the "x" in the model number is for. You can load multiple mapsets in it for on and off road use.

The screen is small compared to some of the newer models, but it works for me.
REI is having it's annual sale starting this weekend and I saw they had the Garmin 60CSx on sale of $199, it used to be $350. Like DWH said, it is not the latest but a highly rated unit.
