That is not easy at a local dealer. Folsom Lake Toyota in Folsom will try to match Sparks Totoya (east coast) if you talk to Laura. Sparks is good but you need to factor in shipping and no tax. Here is the blue room link.
PS: I have been try to talk Folsom Service and Parts into a NorCal Bar-Q in their lot if we can hook a few rigs up to computers for a look see and some advertising.
it is the best I have found. However, others on this site are much better at knowing all. No tax does seam to make it work.
I think we can now buy FJ light switch at or very close to the Sparks price here in Folsom. Looks like we are not that close to you. But members are away traveling though the area for a pick up.
online with no tax is probably your best bet. either that or call each dealership in your area...that's what i did for my roof rack crossbars. each dealership had a different price. and i don't think they will match online prices, but you can always ask.
I normally get my OEM parts from my034runner on toyota120.com He works for Findlay Toyota in Vegas, so normally gets great prices and also no tax, while shipping form Vegas is fast and cheap. Maybe give him a shout and see what he can do for you (just ask for the Toyota120 or TTORA discount).
Vegas is not that local, but can be a good justification to even go get parts, and have a great time :D
I usually get my OEM parts on-line at https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/index.html. I found them to be the cheapest and good service overall.
They are in Tacoma, Washington. Shipping is 10% or minimum of $8.95 and no Tax.
Looks like we are all coming up with good alternatives. We should set this up in Resources for future questions. Shop around and keep the intel current. Looks like I have a few new leads.
