oh hi!
...been lurking for the past week until I got busted here by Mrs Bozly a couple of minutes ago.
Actually I had been lurking a bit even before I got the keys for my '10 black/white FJ and been coming back reading and learning a bit from everyone's experiences, planning what my first mods are going to be.
I'm a software engineer / UI designer during the day and photographer / overlander wannabe during the night. Would be more than happy to trade some know-how on software coding, hardware hacking or photography for some mechanical, 4wd driving, modding advice.
I guess it was about time I said hello:D

Definitively tempted to go for a trail run, but I'm such a noob I don't want to slow everyone down. Will be paying attention when everyone goes for Hollister so I can drop by and say hi :D

Don't worry about that . We were all new at one time and spotting and helping other out on the trail is just how it is.. Like you said a great place to go is Hollister. So keep you eyes out for a run.

Post any questions you might have and there will always be someone here to give ideas or advise. We also have install days every couple of months to help with the installations. It is a great way to meet others and to get the help needed.

Welcome calimero!! No worries on being a newb, this group is great for sharing knowledge and helping out the new guys.
I hadn't been wheelin in years and the experienced guys have always made me feel welcome and comfortable. I am good with tools and if you need help wrenching or installing mods I can help out there.....
