FJ Cruisers of Northern California

It got me and my son to where we needed to be. It's all we have. It's a long story. We're staying with this person who wants out badly because I destroyed the Fj. He bought it for me and this is how I treated it. Have insurance but he said he's not spending another dime because of me. I need someone to help me get her started again

CHP disconnect the battery , checked out under the hood and said it's nothing going to happen here. He was a cool CHP. He said he a 4x4 wheeler himself. Funny he never did mention what.
where did this happen and how?
La Grange, Ca.
I am sorry to see your FJ on it's side.

I'd say Ray's idea of trying to clear the ECU memory by disconnecting batteries is worth a try. I can't think of any reason the FJ being on its side would cause the engine to not start. If anyone has a engine trouble code reader, they might be able to figure out what is being reported as a problem by the ECU.
Ok, I guess the question is: how do you make the FJ move under it's own power after a airbag deploys????
There was no air bag.
You said there was a sound coming from the engine that sounds like something is broken? Did you pump the gas pedal? Could you take off your air filter and see if there is water in the intake track? Make sure your Mass Air Flow sensor is connected (can be found on the intake tube). Need some pictures.
should be good to start it up as long as the fan turns without hitting anything. Can you open the hood?
Hi Cindy Sorry to hear about this. Do you happen to any footage of the roll?
I saw the video of you trying to start it but, don't you need to step on the brake pedal to start a automatic FJ?
No
I reach in and just start mine all the time.
Brake pedal to shift out of park but that's it.
ok
My $ is on the Computer
