Exhaust

Ok I told Santa that I would like an exhaust system for Christmas. What kind should I go with, and don't say the TRD. I know some of you have it, but it doesn't sound much better then stock, and im going for a louder effect (I know that is not the purpose of exhaust). Thanx in advance for your help, and Santa thanks you too!!!

Flowmaster... maybe the 40 series? It's hard to get a deep/loud sound out of a V6.

You could always go with a glass-pack or Cherry Bomb, hahahahahahaha.

I just put in a Magnaflow muffler #11226. It's connected to a Allpro high clearance tailpipe and it's sounds good. It's much louder than stock, but not annoying, and it's got a gurgle when you downshift. It's only the muffler, not a whole exhaust.

Does Magnaflow muffler #11226 fit rightaway or is welding required ? I have a allpro tailpipe to be installed and if Magraflow fit without issues i may install it as well.

I would stay away from the JBA and allpoop. Neither are good products from what I read.

There's a guy up in Clear Lake selling a TRD exhaust for $250.00 It's an older couple who bought an Fj and didn't like how loud it was...not kidding. They already pulled it off and replaced it with a stock exhaust. If you're interested...his name is Jim. (707) 998-1801

I have the Magnaflow that splits in two pips out the back. I have only seen one other set up like it. (it was installed at the Stealership ).

I love the sound and low level rumble I get with it.. I am very happy with it
