FJ Cruisers of Northern California

A set of USED Bud Built Skid Plates (NO Gas Tank Skid). Full set (minus gas tank skid) with all mounting hardware (new) and cross member. This set is EXTREMLY well used and has seen many trails. The set has been straightened out and repainted in Hammerite Black. All four pieces will mount up to the FJ Cruiser. I would however recommend purchasing a new front skid from Bud as this one is well used.
If you are worried about scratches and rash this set is not for you. If you are looking for an affordable skid plate set, contact me.
$100.00 takes it, locale pick up only. - SOLD

So what do these plates cover under the FJ? I need some trail armor, but am looking for a diff plate and some to protect my drive line and what-not.
This would be what you need. doesnt' protect the diff, you'll need a Boztec skid for that.
Ok, so what exactly do these plates cover? I have a stock plate already on the front of my IFS, but it doesn't cover much. Since I don't have a lift yet, it'd be nice to protect the low-hanging parts.
basically from the front to the transfer case. These are 3/16" steel, not sheet metal like the stock skids, so MUCH more protection.
Hmm... I may want to buy these then. But sadly I am really low on money.

Scout, wanna hold these plates until after Christmas when I have some money? Haha
Well if you are low on money and you find a set of buds for 200 bucks, JUMP ON IT!

Anyway, I'd advice a lift *as soon as possible*. The weight of the Buds (or any decent armor) will lower your FJ a bit and you'll be hitting more than ever.
I agree...that's a steal.
I can't get a lift for awhile... money and my father are the big issues there (no lift until the FJ is paid off).
This is a great deal.
