FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Turns out that on December 5th there will be a Hollister clean up day.

They are letting people in for free but they need to have people help clean up. I know that people are going to wheel that day so it not be tat hard to pitch in and help out the park that we all use regularly..

Its very important that WE FJC owners take care to help keep places like Hollister clean & open. With all the cut backs that are going on in the state right now the park is stretched very thin. They will always need the help to keep the park open. its good for us newest to the sport to take our turn and pitch in some labor

So I will be going on Dec 5 with my trailer ready to help clean up. I know many of you are planning to go so why not bring a back and help out for to keep Hollister clean..

Be sure to contact them so they can send you the Volunteer form..

I wil keep a list here of everyone that is going to be there.

The event will be from 10:00am - 2:00 pm
Meet at area 5

Lets leave the caravan coordination on the other page since Stu seemed to have that going well.

I left these names on here because they have not confirmed that they want to do the clean up. This is fine since the clean came up after the thread was started, and maybe people still want to wheel ..

Okay... looks like I'm going!
got you on the list
I emailed James last week that I would attend. Is there a form we need to fill out for access?
I did not get a form, James only wanted to know how many in my truck so he would know how much food to buy.
I got the same info. But somewhere I read that admission was free with some filled out form.
the flier says... "If calling, please leave your email so we can send you the one day volunteer form."
They might send out as an email blast after they get most of the volunteers names.
I got an email from them today and they said that the free passes will be given out on that Saturday. So instead of receiving an email form them, looks like it will taken care of the paper work all on the day of the event.

They may also be trying to get a head count for the Tri-Tip Lunch.. But please if everyone can send an email if yuou have not already done so, that would be fantastic.

Here is the email that I got:

Tony,
Thank you very much for your support. We will give out the day passes the day of the event as well as signing of the volunteer forms. Its great to know we have wheelers that care about the upkeep of our 4x4 park.

Hey all,

I would love to come, but can only stay until about 11:00am. Will anyone get there early? Do you guys think it's worth the drive for so short a time?
Well that all depends.. I am not real sure what time I am going to get there.. But it does start at 10:00 so you could be there for an hour.. Of course if you go there early enough you could wheel and then clean up..
WOW 17 rigs on the sign up list !!!
