Hollister Hills Turkey Run

Hey all, was talking with potatomutato and I was thinking about getting a Thanksgiving trip together that weekend. I know that it's a big holiday and lots of people go out of town, but what would be better than a Thanksgiving get-together with the FJ family?

Trail: Hollister Hills SVRA
Where: 7800 Cienega Road, Hollister CA 95023
When: Saturday 11-28 and/or Saturday 12-5
Meet-Up:
-- Caravan:
Morgan Hill at E. Dunne Ave. (Exit E. Dunne Ave. make a left at the end of the off ramp. Then left at first corner. There is a gas station, fast food, etc. on the left, Subway to get lunch.) between 8:45am and 9am (Meeting location | Subway location)
-- At Hollister Hills:
The mud pit and frame twister at 10am
Frequencies: FRS 7-31 ... CB 31

**** Please let me know who wants to meet up to caravan down. I live about 15-20 minutes from Morgan Hill and I don't want to end up waiting there for people and find out they are all heading straight to Hollister. ****

where have you been? LOL.

we have socials and trail runs all the time. hope you can make it to the next one. unfortunately, we usually get the most rigs showing up at trail runs. we had 60+ at Surf N Turf. the socials usually get about 10 or so.

The last few trips to Hollister we met in Morgan Hill at E. Dunne Ave.

if people want to meet in Morgan Hill they should be there no later then 9 (shoot for 8:45 so you will be on time) to be able to get to Hollister by 10+.

this is just a suggestion, Studovich, the owner of this thread should post in the OP what the plans are.

Ok, so whoever wants to meet up where 5AND5STORM said, we will meet there between 8:45am and 9am. And those who want to meet at the mud pit, we will see you there probably a bit after 10am?

OK so I figured this would be the best place to post this since there are two runs being planned for Hollister.

Turns out that on December 5th thee will be a Hollister clean up day. They are letting people in for free but they need to have people help clean up. I know that people are going to wheel that day so it not be tat hard to pitch in and help out the park that we all use regularly..

Its very important that WE FJC owners take care to help keep places like Hollister clean & open. With all the cut backs that are going on in the state right now the park is stretched very thin. They will always need the help to keep the park open. its good for us newest to the sport to take our turn and pitch in some labor

So I will be going on Dec 5 with my trailer ready to help clean up. I know many of you are planning to go so why not bring a back and help out for to keep Hollister clean..

Be sure to contact them so they can send you the Volunteer form..
