THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
* Drinking excessively and driving is strictly prohibited (CA laws on drunk driving apply on the beach)
* ...so is drinking excessively and becoming a liability to the rest of the group
* No shooting firearms
* Watch out for your fellow FJers...everywhere - on the dunes, in town, in the water, etc.
* Newbies on the dunes...be sure you know what you are getting into. Ride jumpseat in a more experienced driver's rig before trying things out on your own!
* Do not speed over uncontrolled, unobserved dunes - know what's on the other side before jumping or speeding over dunes
* Deflating your tires is highly recommended (air stations are available on the beach and at the gas stations in town)
* Dogs must be on a leash at all times - Informative post can be found here on the SoCal FJ Cruiser Forum.
* Please use the restrooms or PETT toilets - digging holes is not an option unless you don't mind your own kid or family member burying themselves in sand and finding a nice surprise.
* Do not litter, bury bottles in the sand or place bottles into the fire
* Abide by the speed limit while driving on the beach - you will be ticketed if you go over it
* Be respectful when playing music loud - not everyone likes your music. No loud, amplified music late at night.
* Do not do anything that will have serious repercussions on the entire group. Remember, you are representing the off-road community.
* Common sense is your friend
* Violating any of these tips could result in partial/full expulsion from all future trail runs and/or major NorCal/SoCal/AllCal events
* Have fun!

i have added the proposed camp layout for AllCal FJs at SnT to the OP. we learned our lesson last year. although the concept was decent, being spread out was not optimal when dealing with wind. this year, we're opting for the flying V anchored by the Taj Mahals (yes, BigFish is bringing his) and a few EZ-UPs. we'll keep adding EZ-UPs if more turn up.
we're also sticking with a few, long fire pits (proven to work well at DominicG's Farewell Party) at the heart of base camp.
as far as parking goes, it will be first come, first serve. we will leave two internal lanes open for easy exits and entrances. with 50+ rigs expected, it will be controlled chaos if we stick closely to the clam shell layout.

Cool Tater. Cowboy is coming down Thursday AM as well and he will also bring Caution tape since he will most likely arrive before the Socal crew and can start claiming real estate for us. I have asked him to check the OP here so that he has an idea what the plan is.
I'm leaving in 26 hours!!!!

Layout looks good. I plan to be in SLO by noon. Lunch with the peep. On the beach by 2:30 on Thursday. Head for the south entrance then Pole 6plus 75 yards south? 7-31 or CB 31
I will likely wait for someone to plant an EZ-Up as the key for the V. Then we can build from there. Just want to make sure we good on setup location.

Hey folks!
I wasn't sure when I was leaving so I haven't posted up til now. I'm going to head southwest to the Bay Area Thursday around noon. If it's not too late, can I caravan with some of you? Where are you leaving from? I'm in Sacramento and will be cruising through East Bay around 2:30 or 3:00.
I can leave earlier if necessary. I'm kind of flexible. :)

i believe the Bozlys may be leaving around the time you are cruising through the East Bay. otherwise, there's a small group leaving SF around 6:30 PM.
