FJ Cruisers of Northern California

OK, I'm jumping the gun here by joining the forum *before I get my FJ. I go pick up my beastie tomorrow and I couldn't wait to join the forum. I'm looking forward to getting to know my fellow Norcal "wheelers." Let's go find some dirt!

welcome to NorCal FJs! did you get the FJ today?
Welcome to the site !!!
Welcome, looking forward to meeting you on a trail soon.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I picked up the FJ yesterday. Had to go to Napa to get it cuz none of the Sac dealers were responding. The fleet manager Craig at the Napa Toyota dealer was a straight shooter.

Man, the FJ exceeds all my expectations. What a great rig. I can see why you guys like it so much. I can't wait to start accessorizing it now. Where to start....hmm......
Rob you should come with us to SnT next week. check out the Surf n Turf thread would be a good plays to test out your new fj.
Yeah, I'm thinking about going to SnT. A co-worker said he went to #5 and it was a good time. Are some of you folks going to be camping in the same area? I just have a tent. Will that be ok? Maybe now I'm hijacking the thread,,, someone stop me before this tangent gets too long!
Dude its your thread ! Hijack all you want!! LOL

Yes a tent shoudl be good. U should check out the SnT thread. THer eis a list of who is brining what and when.. This should help.. This is a great run for yoru first. Mostly cuz sand is fun and its pretty hard to do any damage, Well unless you like to jump the duns and stuff like that. three years ago this was my first event and where I meet many Nor-Cal people for the first time (BZ, Pitt, Alan) you shoudl head out if you have the time....
See y'all at SnT. I'm guessing there'll be an easy way to find everyone?
Look for the Norcal flag! And the large FJ crowd with what sounds like one big wood pile.
Rob...we'll be about 75 yards south of Post 6. as BigFish mentioned, look for the flag. if not the flag (since you'll be getting there around the time some of us are, look for the FJCs! if you have FRS or CB, that'll help too. i'll PM you my mobile as well.
a tent is fine but make sure to have your bags inside it so it won't fly away due to strong wind. Mine almost got away from me last year. and it got pretty windy and we ended up sleeping in the FJ.
So how do you like your FJ Rob?
