Best Shops in Sacrameto Region For Lift Install?

Where did you get you lift installed if not done your self? Recomendations for shops in or around Sacramento area? Think I'm settled on OME. Know of best place to purchase for deal?

Save money and do it yourself !! Its not hard and there are many of us that have done it ourselves.. If you want to wait we have install days and there will be lots of people there to help. Or maybe you cold talk someone into just giving you a hand one day.. Dont pay someone else labor when some beer and food are normally good for any of us..

Shoot. That would be awesome. I'm pretty new on here though so I didn't right asking for help. I hope to meet you all soon though. Hell I'll bring a keg if someone could help me install it. What about allignment after? Best to do that at a shop?

There is a shop over on Marconi or El Camino....that does a great job 4x4 / IFS lift alignment. I will get you that name asap. Try to stay away from shops like Big O, Firestone, etc. I have, in the past used them and they always try to tell me I need something new, like tie rod ends is a common sales pitch from them.

And if you want to check out off road tires in person, go to 4Wheel Part on El Camino, they have most tires on there floor...and lots of other goodies too.

Buy my OME lift and I'll help you install it.
What you save in tax, shipping and labor you can put toward some other goodies. :)

But people have put 35" in there..

Most of us run 33's (or 285/70/17s) but you could stuff 35's like C4B did. When you get up to 35's it is a good idea to re-gear to regain acceleration and speedo accuracy.

actually the 35's wont fit on the OME lift I stuffed the 35's after installing the Icon's and getting rid of my 285's.
As far as shops C4Beast's alley way suspension shop is a good place and heard he does a good job on FJ suspension installs...:-) really try to install it yourself so you can learn more about your suspension and get to know your truck in case any situation you may run into.

I think 5andstorm is selling his OME lift he took off on his FJ. Try and get a hold of him to see if he still has it.
I believe he has set up on bilistein's.

If you have any mechanical skills or interest in wrenching it is easy to do. As several have stated already we've all helped each other put lifts on and so in total must be 15 to 20 FJ's lifted at various get togethers. Once you get a lift post up and see who is available. No sense in paying anywhere from $300 to $500 on labor with all this experience.
