just asking

was wondering is there a place where they trade or buy new tires when you purchase new ones. Was going to do that with my stock tires all five of them. Aite folks hope all is having a good summer.

Discount Tires/America's Tire in Redwood City will give you credit towards the purchase of new ones. You'll definately get more selling on Craigslist though.

Les Schwab will give credit on tires when buying new ones.

You can post up on Craigslist and try that, I've heard that stock Suburbans use the 265/70/17 size and are always looking for rubber.

Calderons here at San Jose buys them, they recap them and resell them.. But I wouldn't buy wheels from them.

well I when I did my alignments in Les Schwab the best they can do is $30 a piece...u think they will get it for more???

I sold mine on craigslist as well. I think I got 300$ for them and they only had like 6k miles on them.

craigslist is your best bet. some traveling insurance guy bought my set because he drives a ton and goes through tires like crazy.

Yeah thereabouts. We sold 10 rims & tires online (g-list/ebay) for about $50 each and got rid of em quick! Be sure to mention in your post that shipping costs are extra, and devise a system to calculate actual sale cost (tire $ + shipping $?)(have the buyer email his her location?) Or you may end up taking a short sale, by buying the shipping.
On ebay we sold em as singles and on g-list as a set with photos.
