FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I just came back from the Father's Day gathering at Hollister. Nice to see you again Brandon and Vince! And I'm happy to meet everyone else! Great rigs! I asked Vince to say good bye while you guys were playing with the rock course. My dad had a family arrangement, plus we needed to go to costco to get food! :o) He really had a blast! If only you all could hear him while I was driving the entire time. "Turn left, left! Right, right!" He kept on doing that until he eventually mixed up the two directions! haha

Post up the photos/videos in this thread. I will be uploading mine in a few hours. Gotta fill up the tummy now!

good to see you guys had fun. was cypink the only guy to go up Truck Hill?
Yes.
Yes Cyp was the only one brave enough it was tore up with about 6-12" of sand on it the whole way up. Even the local old-timer was scared and had to back down!!!
At around 4 pm on Sunday, I was driving south on 101 towards San Martin and I spotted a Sandstorm flying an orange flag off its rear end (Vince perhaps?) in the commuter lane. About a mile later, I saw a Black Diamond, also in the commuter lane. Then it was a Sun Fusion with Hi-Lift and shovel on its rack. Must have been a bunch of wheelers returning from Hollister Hills. If ya spotted me in the other direction, I was the Sandstorm waving back at ya with some Sierra mud on my tires. Glad to see you guys had fun!
I had a good time yesterday. It was nice to have a small group, we covered a lot of ground. Too bad so many areas were closed.

That was me w/ the NorCal flag, I forgot to fold it down, it was a bit beat up by the time I got home. The SF was Vaughn.
Yep that was us! And at least we saw you. There where about four other modded out fj's headed south on 880 shortly after that. One was a sun fusion with too many racing decals to count and a serious lift! Civilian? That looked like a cool rig!
Good pics and vids !! looks like all had fun..
