All-Cal Meet & Greet 2009 - Recap
what a blast it was! great hanging with you guys again and even better that we got to have fun with the SoCal gang as well.
it would've been nice to wheel more, but to tell you the truth, i really enjoyed staying behind to hold the fort and socialize with everyone. it was a meet & greet after all.
so a lot went on and not all of us were everywhere at the same time - post your stories, interesting sights, things overheard, etc.

It was good finally meeting everyone, including a bunch of cool so-cal'rs.
Jo and I had a great time. Everybody that we drove with were very helpful!(CYPLIK showing me how to correctly use my 4wd settings really helped and probably saved us some transmission damage) Also started to learn about the equipement which is cool as I am not very mechanical.
This was our first off-road driving experience, and we are HOOKED! We thought that hungry valley was a great spot for us to start to learn. Pretty much drove what seemed like most of the open truck trails that were on the map. lotsa solo time. Cant wait to get more technical skills in the sierras.
A few scrapes and bruises from the brush and the segway. I am glad you guys liked the segway! the thanks are appreciated so were the laughs! even at myself lol (SEGWAYDRUNK.COM? wadda ya think?)
Sounds like more than just myself got scraped and bruised. Stoked the FJC is scratched!!! Jo likes it too!
CaANNIE wins the most comical award, for being mrs. BART with the tweakers ::-@. Too bad the chase wasn't filmed.

Can't wait to do this event again next year. And PISMO in nov, and to see our new freinds again!!!!!
Definately would like to be joining up with others (nor-so-cal) in the near future for day and overnight trail runs!!
Got home safe. Took a pit stop at Magic Mountain on the way home that was a first as well! That new Terminator Salvation ride ^^^^^^ ROCKS!!!

The Hoff in action!
unfortunately, The Hoff was there to save FunJunkie from the night before, but FunJunkie had left by the time The Hoff had arrived the next day. i believe The Hoff ran all the way from Malibu! major props!

i'm tellin ya.....at some point i dared paul to use the markers on mikes face and he chickened out...i was wasted enough at that point i would have helped you guys. ha ha ha
next time we bring HOT PINK markers! we'll give him eye shadow!
