All-Cal Meet - F&B and Supply Thread
NorCal, just wanted to start a thread to begin discussions on food, beverage and supplies. let us know what you are bringing to share or contribute. please note, you do not have to go in with a group buy/share...you are more than welcome to bring enough food and beverage for yourself.
for those of you who wish to contribute a meal and request sponsorship, please do it here. for example, you can say "i'm contributing chili cheese dogs for Saturday night - who wants in?" or "i'm contributing chili cheese dogs for Saturday night." the first example is a mini-group buy in which you break down costs between those who are interested in joining in on the meal. the second example is you bringing a set amount of food to contribute and plan to share with others in exchange for other food or beverage - kinda like a barter system.

I'm willing to juump in on any meal being planned, I can readily bring all that I've got as far as gear; 2 burner camp stove, lots of propane, and all the talents I got in my bag o tricks =)

Not real sure what I am going to bring.. Is anyone bringing a grill ?? Cuz if I can use it I may bring a Tri-tip to share. I can also bring some stuff to do breakfast like eggs and Bacon.. So I will bring 1 dozen eggs and a big pack of bacon to share for morning breakfast.. I normally bring way more food than I can handle so I will have lots to share. Also I was told that there is a truck stop like a mile away from where we are camping so supply's should be close by...

MaybeI can bring my webber from the house. Its kind of large but since I am flying solo I can fit it in pretty easy....... Maybe I will just do that so we will have plenty o grill space for food.
I am in for at least one Chilie dog Tater !! hehehe

Tater, I'd like to have some of your world famous chili dogs.
I'll bring sandwich supplies; rolls, various deli meat, condiments, tomato and lettuce for lunch on Friday/Sat.

BRING YOUR NORCAL FLAGS!
Most importantly the Keg, Racer 5. Also SHARPIES, so we can draw on the SoCal'ers faces after they pass out! (Ssshhh!) :) Also need someone to bring a night vision camera to document atrocities, lol.
I'm bringing a bunch of marinated/maybe skewered meat (chicken/steak/lamb) and a big bag of buttered corn, all for grilling one night. (I need a grill!)
For the other night, I'll have several packs of brats, buns, mustard, relish, pot of beans (cant have a campfire w/o beans!). Both meals will be more than we need, Brandon/Vince, we've got you covered, probably more.
Bringing 2-burner Coleman Stove for beans, breakfast, etc.
Easy UP, not so easy, bringing Duct Tape to secure.
For NorCal Bar: Vodka , martini glasses, gal OJ, and 1 more big bottle (any suggestions? I'm thinking Jack or Rum). 300 Solo cups for beer and bar, and lots of lawn sized trash bags. I saw that Vaughn is bringing Margarita's! I'll also have some Kahlua for morning coffee, find me in the mornings if interested.

sounds like we need a grill. i know opg has one provided he is still planning on attending. we should have another if possible.
my camp stove does have a small grill, but it wouldn't handle tri-tips and such as well.

we are bringing our camp-out grill. Surface area about 24"x12" with small upper grill shelf and lid. Runs on propane cans or tank. We are happy to share may need more propane canisters if so. Maybe someone wants to team up at meal time we'll have chicken, burgers and salad, stuff like that. Planning on keeping it simple
Same grill is sold at walmart for about $20. Had ours for 3 years now very portable,durable and inexpensive. Was in there the other day and saw they had em out again for the summer. Even has smoker chip tray!
We are also gonna bring homemade salsa and chips, as well as margaritas for the group.
