New Thread for the Skid Plates
OK, without further ado, this is what I know.
1 set, 4 pieces would be $860, 5 pieces would be $1074, this includes shipping to out here.
But here goes the group buy #s:
5 sets, 4 pieces $784, 5 pieces $900
10 sets, 4 pieces $750, 5 pieces $867
15 sets, 4 pieces $743, 5 pieces $857
20 sets, 4 pieces $713, 5 pieces $827
Again, all prices include shipping. Shipping may be a bit less with more sets on a truck but this is safe with Fed Ex Freight.
So, if a guy wanted in and we had 15 sets, he would save $217!!!
I'm assuming if you want the beefy gas tank, you would add $150. I will confirm this on Thursday.
This would be shipped all together to my commercial address.
For those of you who want to PC, my guy said he would do several sets, all one color, for $165 per set, and like $210 in a custom color.
I will confirm this on Thursday, and I could get them there and back to my place.
Powder Coating will be a separate deal to be figured out when we know how many sets will be done.
We could even organize an install day at my place for those who wanted too.
Because of these trying economic times, I'm looking to get the best deal for not only us
but Bud as well. That being said, I will be responsible for payment to Bud in the form of
one check. All I ask is you pay me with cash or check before the order date and we keep
credit cards out of this. That will only cut into the profit margin and complicate things.
Finally, if it's at all possible, I would like to make this order next Wednesday, May 6th.
So there ya go, If I have anything wrong, it will be updated Thursday, gotta go rock climbing
on Wednesday.
Also, I've decides not to include The Blue Room in this because I don't want a bunch of
requests to ship sets all over the country.
Let me know and we'll get it together.

For the 5 piece, if you want the beefy gas tank, add $150 to the 5 piece set and that's all up to my place in Alameda. $1050 per set for 5 sets.
Come on, not only is this a good deal, but we will help stimulate the economy being part of the solution to these trying economic times.

that's a good deal. Bud has to adjust his price according to the cost of steel as well, which has since gone up from the time we did our mini-group buy last summer. but rest assured, Bud is very picky about the steel he chooses. ask GRM...he has actually visited Bud and seen the "scrap" pile of steel that wasn't up to his standards.

Actually, last summer steel was over a dollar a pound, I've seen it lower than 40 cents a pound in the last couple of weeks. Hope this will add to his bottom line.

Well that sucks about not wanting to take credit cards that means i'm out then.The only way to get them is if i use the visa mentallity.If there is a way to do the group buy using my card i am in.

Beefy set is the way to go. Less tendency to shear off vegetation, shoving it up into the tank area.
The are many credit card options as well as paypal. Try cash advance on the card, or request a paper check from your credit card provider.

hey Boz, do you think we can talk bud into the 5 set price with three sets? I thought Sueycide (or someone else, last thread) wanted 4 peice set. So thats 2 full sets, and 1 4piece set so far right ?
Everyone this could be a $200+ savings (or 17% or so). Might be a while before the opportunity to save $ on these skids comes around again.The savings could be bigger than you think, God forbid!
Christmas in may? Why not! Your rigs will thank you come end of the season!
We would like to get this order out the door soon for an early season install. So come one come all!

again i am in for a 5 piece beefy set if i can place my order with my credit card.not going to take a cash advance out like someone sugested.seeing that they charge so much it wouldnt make sense.it would cost me more to do that then to place my order by myself.i will give bud a call
