What brand did you pick? And why?

I got those and I love them. Had them for about 3 years now... I put the Moog balljoints in and they are pretty solid. I just recently tore the boot on one of them (my fault... squeezed a little too much grease in) but it's still going. I'll replace the balljoints probably at the beginning of next year.
Thanks guys, something to chew on there, as they say. My choices were Total Chaos, Icon or Camburg and this info is helpful. I plan on this upgrade next year and am researching parts now.

Lots of updates for BigBlu! I did a bunch of little things in prep for our recent trip to MOAB! First was the installation of the Pioneer NEX system-bad to the bone! Brings all of your I-phone into the vehicle including Seri voice command.... LOVE IT! Texts, phone messages, directions, music-all voice command...
Other interior updates include extinguisher mounted to passenger side dash. and mounting of hammer and hand axe inside the rear door...
One of the best things we did was the removal of the small seat bottom and head rest to open up the space behind the driver's seat for storage of the recovery gear... With three adults a 60lb dog and a 10 days worth of supplies we needed all the space we could get! The fold down is where we've put the ice chest and by removing the seat parts it opened up the area quite a bit as you can see...
Out back I built a shelf unit so we don't have to take everything out to get to the bottom boxes... (so much better!)
The exterior also got some work... my truck ws bought second hand and the hood latch has always been suspect with the hood moving up and down at highway speed... put the rubber hood hold downs on to be sure when running in the high winds and 80mph speed limits in Utah the hood would stay in place...
Once I got that done (and tested) I realized the entire front panel was flowing about... I pulled it apart and all of the plastic retainers had broken off... arrrgh! Tried epoxy-and no... finally I said screw it-and did just that!
Finally I reinstalled and rewired the KC lights-and although they still need some adjustment they really cam in handy getting back to our camp site some 40 minutes out into the pitch black National Forest!
lots of things going on there, looking good,bro. Did you see the spring loaded hood latches in P4wor this month for Heeps? Seem stronger than just rubber, but Heeps have wobbly hoods anyway.:)

I have a 7lb aluminum Kidde dry chemical in the back of my FJ in a large Quick Fist grip.Its 5 years old.
IMHO, after 6 years just buy a new one. I recharged the 2 10lb units in my house a few weeks ago when I charged up my CO2 tanks and they cost as much to recharge as a new Home Depot extinguisher. And worse, mine are 10 years old and so in 2 years the fire extinguisher place wants to do a hydrostatic pressure test on them at 12 years old and that cost $50 each! plus recharge to re-certify. I think at that time they go to the recycler and I buy new ones at $30 each.!!! Something to think about when time to recharge. The gauge may show green but its recommended to recharge after six years, or just replace. Thats for residential and personal but where I work they have to recharge every year, costs a bunch and they come in randomly so I can't take my personal ones in for a freebie!!!!
