Bud Built Complete Set

OK, here's the deal.
I was just talking to Vaughn and he has a deal put together from someone in SoCal
for two 5 piece, with beefy gas tank, sets of skids.
They come bare but they will PC them for $240/set, I think with two or more sets all one color
we can do it cheaper up here. Also, shipping is $175/Set but if two or more of us kick in for gas,
Vaughn has kind of offered to go retrieve them for us.
The kicker is, with two sets they offered a $100 discount per set, maybe a bit more with 3 or more,
don't know for sure on this one but it would be at least $100 per.

If anyone is on the fence for skids, this sounds like a good deal to me.
We will get two sets for sure, anyone else?

When I contacted Bud for mine, he said that he would do any color without price differences.

Also, if you order bare metal, you can spray paint the color you want. Given the cost of paint and the time/tools/etc you do not save much if you paint yourself, but they say non-powdercoat is easier to repaint when it's scratched... I still have to fix mine, it's a mess...

Mine are scraped to heck. You are gonna have to rattle can them after trails anyway so why powder coat? Just my opinion.

Yeah, save the $165 and paint by hand. The price is getting better all the time.

I'm going to talk to Bud early in the week and maybe we can include the Blue Room as well and see what happens.

Well got tired of waiting.I called Bud and told him that there is a group that wants to do a group buy in northern california,And if he could do a group buy discount.He said yes and asked me to email him with some details and he would get back to me on monday.He is going to email me what the price will be for 5-10-15 sets.I told him about one of are members has a shop that was willing to have them shipped there which he said should really help with shiping.So i guess all that is left is how many are really interested and ready to buy a set.I will post his email response as soon as i get it.

I Talked to Bud yesterday and he is sending me all the details of what he will do as far as multi sets.
It sounded like $50 off for a partial set and $100 off for a full set. If there all shipped to one commercial address, the rates will be the lowest.
Sorry I've lagged a bit here but I'm involved in multiple projects right now and have had a bunch of work come in to boot.

Should have details up early next week.

Ok so here is the email i got from Bud for the group buy.

OK, finally got this done, sorry for the delay!
There is a guy in Campbell that wants 5-7 sets and I have quoted him too.
If you want to contact him, he said we was willing to see if it helped and
you guys can get them together. His name is John 510.459.6460 I will send
him these details too.

I quoted these groups as 2- 4 piece sets and 3- 5 piece sets. That is about
the percentages that we normally sell. We can adjust the shipping if it is
much different from that, ok? :)

Oh, and NO POWDERCOATING. To ship them on a pallet, there is no way we can
get them there without being all scratched up. Perhaps you can get a group
buy on powder out there?!?! :)

Here is some comparison info: Normal price is $725 and $900 for the sets,
shipping to a residence in 95008 is $135 and $174 respectively. So, to make
the comparison clearer:
I split the prices up to a per set basis, delivered, so it is easier. If
you want it another way, lemme know!

1 set, 4 pieces would be $860, 5 pieces would be $1074.

But here goes the group buy #s:
5 sets, 4 pieces $784, 5 pieces $900
10 sets, 4 pieces $750, 5 pieces $867
15 sets, 4 pieces $743, 5 pieces $857
20 sets, 4 pieces $713, 5 pieces $827

So, if a guy wanted in and you had 15 sets, he would save $217!!! :) Hope
it helps.

Those prices are based on shipping 1 or 2 pallets to one commercial address.
We'd LIKE to use one credit card, or certified check but we can do
individual cards if need be. If YOU are willing/able to send me a money
order, certified check, or some other form that will not cost me credit card
points, for the whole thing , I'd give you a 5% discount on the WHOLE
thing. That way, you would make some $ on your time and energy and I would
not have to deal with all those cards. If you wanted to put them ALL on
your card, I'll give you a 2% discount on the whole thing, again, to save me
the hassles. :)

There you go. Wish you well. The guys from Alaska and Dubai will be
emailing you asking you to ship to them... :) Just my experience! :)
Lemme know if we need to do something else, we can work around just about
anything. ;)
