oh I wish I could help. I have none left but I used to build auto audio amps in the 80's and early 90's.
I could build a switch-mode power converter (smpc) for a  150 watt amp that would fit in a 6 x 3 x 2 inch area of an amp. I used the +12vdc input to fire two npn and pnp transistors across a torroidal transformer that I hand wired.The frequency was high enough that the components were small, the xformer was only 1 1/2 inch dia. After bridge rectification, I could smooth that ac out with small electrolytic caps and have a +/- 50 vdc rail for either IC audio packs or discrete transistor audio amps. I just looked around my garage and dont really have anything you might be able to use, but the technology is old enough for these inverters to be readily available.

I have an inverter. It is labeled as "modified sine wave".
let me know if this will work.

Thanks Daryl, I have a modified but wanted to make a comparison to a pure wave given my particular usage. 

I just bought a pure sine so we'll see what happens.
