FJ Cruisers of Northern California

One of my ball joint boots for my passenger side UCA just ripped as I was greasing the joints.

Do I need to replace the whole ball joint to replace the boot? I have Camburg UCA's with Moog ball joints that I had a company press in and assemble with the UCA's.

Does anyone know of a place I can get new Moog ball joints pressed into my UCA's?

Im sorry bud I don't know where to get that done.

Thanks to Bz for introducing me to Arabia's Offroad in Campbell. Met with the owner, super nice guy. He said if I order the new ball joints, he can remove the old ones, press in the new ones, and put the setup back together on the FJ.

Labor is gonna be about $500 but I honestly don't want to deal with putting those UCA's back in again. I did it the first time when originally installing them and it was a nightmare... ain't nobody got time for that.

$500 is steep, might be worth investing in the tool. For the UCA's try doing it on a Tundra, it will make the FJ seem so easy. It should be easier now that they have been install but with fresh bushings.... ugh

$500 is worth not having to deal with it myself.
