One group will be departing Thurs to get to Hungry Valley early to save some camp spots. The other will be leaving Friday.

When: Thursday, May 21. Time TBD...

When: Friday, May 22. Meeting at 7:30am and departing at 8:00am

i agree. i doubt SoCal will be able to top that one and we'll have bragging rights for ages. you gotta make sure it happens on that Friday or Saturday though, ok? perhaps our PR department should contact the Discovery Channel as well. after all, it's not everyday that you see a new 'lil 'squatch brought into the world!

I was looking at what ammo boxes I have. Looks like I have a few different shapes and sizes. I have three big (large) cans, 20 normal size, 15 half size, three plastic, one flat one, and about 5 that are in between the normal and big boxes.

Looks like a friend is going to load me up with other goodies as well - towels, knives, and a few other odd ball things. I hope this works for all.

I am planning a Thursday pm (4:00 PM or so) exist from Sacramento to HV. Otherwise, I will shoot for the early group.

fires outside of the fire rings will most likely be a no-no, so we will probably have to park our rigs on the outside (the inside being the center of the camping area) of the fire rings so as to lend to the communal atmosphere. it also looks as though there is more parking space in the adjoining lot for those who want a little (not much) peace and quiet. the early group will try to secure as many of the campsites (with fire rings and shelter) as possible.
