FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Hi,
I recently joined after crossing paths with DWH on long canyon trail. Have lived in Kyburz for 3 years and bought my FJ as dedicated trail machine. Looking forward to learning more about my FJ and sharing the forest behind the wheel and on foot.

Stock 2012 FJ - purchased from Thompson's Toyota. Did my own upgrades with the help of a couple friends. Photo below of newly upgraded FJ before i started bouncing it off rocks and trees.
Ex-techie who traded a ranch in Acampo and career in Silicon Valley for a cabin on the South Fork of the America River.

Welcome, I've done the Long Canyon Trail a few times with DWH and Steve Hope. I'll let you know next time I plan on rolling up there. John
Sounds good.

Hi Bro, just noticed this
Warn Front Bumper with Warn XP 9.5, pencil beam and trail floods>>>>
Looks like the ARB front bumper that I have with the fog lights kit, no?
Steve Hope.
You're right, Steve. Original order was warn front and rear bumpers. Central4wd recommended substituting Arb. Great bumper -- and added pencil beam and floods.

Thank you. Great to find others with FJs that use them off road.

Shout out to you guys hailing from Acampo. I grew up in Lodi. My friends dad owned the store in Acampo, (joe & Gamal). Haven't stopped in there in quite some time, think the family still owns it though Gamal last I heard was in AZ. My old buddy Stacy and I used to rampage around Acampo back in the day on our bikes and later mopeds, then later our cars. Great place to live once your grown up, but when your a kid, nothing to do but get in trouble...LOL.
Hahaha you are pretty spot on with that description!
Thanks, man - pretty scratched and dented now tho...
Looks like you've done some serious mods to your FJ. How deep have you run it? Was waiting on a snorkel till i had a few wet seasons under my belt
