We will need to wait a while for a snow trip. The recent storms left high snow, over 7k feet. I went up Mormon Emmigrant Trail today and no snow. I pulled off and drove Piliken Road and found some snow, not even enough for my son to sled on.

Usually if we get storms by Presidents Day ( except for a lack of snow last year) that is often a good start date for MET.

We cannot use Long Canyon Trail because the Forest Service close the gate until March. We only get to drive BLM fireroads. So it looks like we need some cold storms.
