I think this solicitation stuff started about 8 years ago. We get constant requests to sell my wifes car back to the dealer, probably one every 2 months. I have had a couple of these requests from the local Toy dealer for my 2012TT since they had it in for recall work and now know my vehicle. Just a new pile of crap-mail we have to deal with.

That was a first for me. I would just hope that if you're contacting me from the dealership you would make it worth my while. Sending me the KBB price of a base model as your offer was a waste of time.

So now I am getting calls from the dealership that they want to buy the FJ.  Said they could get me into a brand new one for the same monthly payment.  They even said they would transfer the lift, tires and sliders from the old one.  Hmmmmm.

Actually I like the dark gray one but that is last years. Plus I just can't deal with the haggling. Of I really thought I could walk in get a new one with the same setup for the same amount I'd consider.
