FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Hi everyone!
I've had my FJ for a little over a year now and I love the hell out of it. I live in Capitola and stay in the area for the most part. I've got a few mods on my rig that I've done myself or with a little help. The major stuff like wiring and suspension I had outsourced.
Mods: clear lens/ black housing turn signals, plasti-dipped roof, side mirrors, hood decal and cowel. MT Front bumper, MT slide rails. MPAC Rack on rear door, Custom rear lights (brakes), Brake light armor. PIAA black ion fog lights, PIAA driving lights, 20' LED light bar with two 6" LED lights on the roof (120 degree flood), 6" LED flood on the rear, custom made recovery tool mounts. Oh, almost forgot....I put an Aeroturbine "muffler" on the rig and chopped the pipe 6" from the can. It is pointed down and I often refer to it as the street sweeper. It gets loud when I throttle the beast.
Lift - 3" OME heavy duty set on BFG MT 285/75/r16 wrapped around procomp 16" steelies with 4.25" bs

Kindred spirits? We both ditched tuners for 4x4s and FJs at that. Uncanny.
Welcome! Post up some pics of the rig
Hi and welcome!!! We're down your way quite a bit to the family beach house in Aptos... So you might see bigblu in your neck of the woods... Hey there is a great shop in Scotts Valley 4x4 & More they do a really good job basic service, alignments, suspension etc... Young owner and his wife took over Dad's shop. Highly recommend them-oh and they're all about 4x4 and always give your rig a really good top to bottom inspection.
Much appreciated! I get my work done with Ben Lifted. Ben and Kendra are amazing people and fun to work with.
I just checked, I believe we're talking about the same people. I didn't know the back story on Ben Lifted.
Welcome to the forum! Glad to see you made it on over!
Howdy from Yosemite!
