Valentines to Presidents Day MET snow dates?

Looking at the 2014 calendar I would suggest we look at any of the days around Valentines day to Presidents Day (Feb 14 thru 17) for a trip to MET for a snow day, weather permitting.

We should have some of the white stuff by then and can add as an Event day closer to the time.

Hopefully this will give our Bay Area based FJ friends good advance notice and we can all review weather forecasts ahead of time and have a great group outing.

I have never been disappointed on MET by Presidents Day in the past, I expect we will have plenty of snow by then.

Yeah, man I will defo post up when its worthwhile going up there for snow play, but there are only 6 weeks left until the trails open for the summer season!

Really terrible lack of snow and rain here so far. We would need the sky to really open up with some cold storms to get any lower levels of snow out there, I suppose it could still happen, keeping fingers crossed for low snow.

I've never been to MET or even Sly Park, so I drove up there on Saturday to familiarize myself with the area. Since I was alone, I decided to turn around when I saw a Dodge Ram spinning his wheels and having to be pulled out by a 4runner. It looks like it will be a lot of fun with a group of FJs.
