I have one one on my fj that's like new ears are black instead of gray though

Interesting question, you are doing the reverse of most builders. I am sure my stock front went to the dump after my ARB was installed. Which brings me to my suggestion.

Maybe you could contact 4x4 shops to see if they have done any recent aftermarket installs and have stockers still sitting around the shop.!! Might be worth a chance, and they might be free or real cheap.
