Hello All,

I've seen this thread on other forums, looks like fun...I'll get it started.

I drove my rig to work (first time I've had it out in a few weeks).  Took it in for a wash..

So I got my cb done finally wasn't to hard to do....

Hey that's a nice fit, tell more. I think Nestor had a Range Rover overhead console install earlier this year that looked really cool too.

Steve.

Its a cobra lt 29 my buddy built up for me. I took a 1 inch piece of practical board that was around 6"x 14" for the backing plate to screw the mounts to. You have to make sure they are not going to go through the wood so it doesn't damage the roof. After I mounted it I pushed the cb as far as it would go up and tightened the clamp screws then bent the mount around the cb(helps keep it in place). There is about a half inch between the roof and cb. I saw the rover over head mount on here and Im doing a foam plug to make one out of fiber glass right now but Im going on a run to strawberry lake tomorrow and needed the cb for the trip. It took about 2 hrs to install it this way..

today I put on a Baja Rack. Got it from Phil Lindsay. Drove to Pacifica with my little brother. it took us about 3 hours to remove my OEM rack and install the Baja. Really happy with it. he also gave me some fuel and water cans that mount to the rack.

Completed the installation of the Metal Tech bumper today... Installed with a 1.5" body lift (notice the mid support member didn't require removal and also the trimming wasn't required for the lights in the corners.) Just wanted to provide reference for anyone thinking of a body lift. Whew...

so I got my roll cage completed.....

What the H@#$? it looks great!  Where'd you get the cage installed?

same guys that did BZ's ill post more pictures later was able to keep the interior plastics and rear seats! just lost the headliner

holy crap....that's sick!

Started hitting my rust underneath with a converter today...

Went to SFo to see Vince, helped him removed the OEM roof rack and install his new Baja rack.

I made a set of 6 gaskets from a sheet of  Butyl rubber to replace the roof brackets and mastic (soft) rubber washers.
